Final exam essay question

Dear Students,
The following question is posted so that you can prepare your answer ahead of time. The final exam will take place on Friday at 8:30 am in the Barber Learning Center.

1. “Are humans an integral part of nature or are they separate from it?”

Discuss how at least three of the texts we have read this term have portrayed “the relationship between humans and the rest of nature.” Which of these portrayals have you found the most compelling? Why?

This essay question is Part Three of Four parts. Part One is Multiple choice, Part Two will ask you to identify passages and discuss their significance, Part Four is also an essay (as much as possible, you will want to refer to different texts in Parts Three and Four. If you do use the same text, discuss different aspects of it in Parts Three and Four).

Please double-space your essays, and write on only one side of the page.
